Mining

The mining operation was conceived in the year 2009 as a means for diversification of business in the Expat Group of companies. The driver behind this was the increased demand for minerals the world over. Currently the mining division has operations in gold mining in Ghana and manganese mining in the Philippines. Being eco-friendly is of paramount importance hence Expat follows Hi-Tech environmentally friendly methods of mining with modern processes & equipment that enable mass production.

Ghana has one of the largest alluvial endowments in the world. Expat has partnered with local agencies, that have long years of mining experience in Africa, for gold mining in Ghana. The site is located in Accra, Ghana. Multiple levels of equipment are used in effect to accomplish the desired timeline for operations.

In Philippines too, local agencies have been incorporated for manganese mining. Full-fledged operations are already underway in the allocated blocks of land and forecast production for the current year is approximately 50,000 metric tonnes.
