Giving an impetus to the developments taking place in Chakan is the recent news of an international school coming up. Chakan is already known for its recently approved international airport project wherein land for the same has also been acquired.
Podar International School has announced the setting up of its Podar International School ICSE at Aambethan village in Chakan. Besides Chakan, the school will also be opened in Ambegaon, Wakad, Bavdhan and Kondhwa.
Out of the five schools, Chakan and Ambegaon schools will commence from June this year, and will have ICSE and CBSE pattern respectively.
The school is well equipped with laboratories, transportation service, student counseling, and a first aid centre.
The Podar International ICSE School is set up by the Podar Educational Complex which has more than 25 campuses and more than 25,000 students.
A trend can be observed by looking at the developments taking place in Chakan. First there was the announcement of the international airport, and then land for Phase 2 of the airport was cleared. This positive development has naturally attracted the international school here.
Parents will be keen to provide their children with education here. To supplement the school, other businesses will start setting up. The presence of the international airport will enhance thevalue of the area. This will eventually increase the value of Real Estate in the area.
