 Overview
Nagpur is the second capital of Maharashtra. It is the geographical centre of India, spread over approx, 235 sq. kms. The city is well connected by rail, road and air with the rest of the country. Three National Highways pass through the city. NH7, the longest N.H. in India is also known as the Wardha Road. The zero mile of India is in Nagpur making it the centre point of India. Nagpur is soon to become an International Identity with the project MIHAN, a huge project with financial outlay of Rs. 25,810 million.
The Expressway on the Amravati Road that connects to the MIHAN project is just 21 Kms from the site. The work is complete till the MIHAN Project and the remaining 5 to 6 Kms stretch is still in progress. This Expressway is said to make Nagpur a mere 10 hr drive to Mumbai. The proposed Dondargaon Railway Stn, is approximately 14 kms from the site thus making it easily accessible. The Multimodal International Hub Airport is in close proximity to the site as well.
